Our Planning Assessment team provides expert advice to internal and external stakeholders at all stages in the development assessment process.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated assessment planner to lead our newly formed fast track assessments team and work to encourage design excellence and environmental sustainability in one of Australia's most complex cities. 

You will have tertiary qualifications in Urban Planning, Architecture or a related discipline with extensive experience in planning assessments and be willing to further develop your leadership skills. You will lead a team of assessment planners who specialise in fast track assessments from a range of business, residential and variety of mixed uses. You will also have a well-developed ability to research, analyse and solve complex and sensitive development issues.

Excellent communication skills are required for negotiation with internal and external parties and the preparation of comprehensive reports.  You will need to meet strict deadlines, balance and respond flexibly to competing priorities and work effectively as part of a team.
