Option to work under a 19 day month arrangement with ability to work from home some of the time

To meet this challenge we are seeking an experience professional to join our Planning Assessments team, to lead and manage a team of planners who are responsible for the assessment of development applications and related applications.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- tertiary qualifications in Urban Planning or a related discipline
- demonstrated experience in managing and leading a team of professionals in a complex environment
- highly developed experience in the assessment and resolution of planning, heritage and urban design issues associated with development applications, preferably in local government
- an ability to meet strict deadlines and to balance and respond flexibly to competing priorities
- experience and ability in preparing evidence and appearing as an expert witness in court appeals.
